The lobby of Cal Nicolau will host this Saturday and Sunday in Roser the exhibition of images that participate in the 33rd Mountain and Nature Photography Competition of theMartorell Excursionist Group (AEM). Everyone will be able to view and vote on a ballot with 3, 2 and 1 points for the three images they like best. The schedule will be on Saturday, October 5 from 10.00 to 14.00 and from 17.00 to 21.00, and on Sunday from 10.00 to 13.00, when the votes will be closed and the counting will begin.
The traditional contest of the AEM has reached around sixty photographs presented this year, which means “a similar participation to that of previous editions”, as commented by the president of the AEM, Xavier Tió.
The winning photographs will be determined by popular vote “until Sunday at 1:00 p.m., when no more tickets will be accepted and the counting will begin. Tió anticipates that around 2:00 p.m., when we close the exhibition, we can announce the verdict with the winning images in the lobby of Cal Nicolau.”

All visitors to the exhibition will receive from the organization a voting paper in which they can choose the three photographs they liked best”, awarding 3, 2 and 1 point.

A total of four prizes will be awarded: three of them, corresponding to the general category: “A first prize of 300 euros in photographic material provided by Fotoprix Martorell, a second which consists of a set of backpacks, insulation and worth 100 euros for to spend at Base Sayas, and a third prize which will be a voucher of 75 euros to spend at Bio Bio Espai Natural”.
The other category is club outings. The image that receives the most votes in this category will get “two enlarged posters on photographic paper on 50x100cm foam, courtesy of Cópies Martorell”.

The AEM expects a good turnout for the event. Last year there were more than half a thousand voters.
