Canada and France will help Ukraine in the cyber field

Canada and France will help Ukraine defend itself against Russian aggression in cyber space, according to the joint French-Canadian statement adopted during the visit of French President Emmanuel Macron to Canada, according to ukrinform.net.

“Our armed forces will continue to deepen their strategic cooperation in the field of cyber defense in support of Ukraine. We are determined to work with Ukraine and our partners to support Ukraine in defending its sovereignty, independence and territorial integrity against Russian aggression, both in the traditional domains and in cyberspace,” reads the French-Canadian joint statement.

Paris and Ottawa also promised to continue efforts to ensure the return of Ukrainian children deported to Russia.



The French president, Emmanuel Macron, is on a two-day visit to Canada, where he arrived after attending the UN General Assembly.
