The alarm came at 4:26 p.m. on Thursday.
One person has been taken to hospital by ambulance helicopter after a drowning accident on Lake Uddjaure south of Arjeplog, the police say.

– They had been out with several canoes, one was missing and then the others raised the alarm, says Anna Nordlundline operator at the rescue service.
The affected person was found by the emergency services, but the extent of the damage is currently unclear.
A total of seven people were out canoeing.
The police are now interviewing witnesses.
