Almost 6 months have passed since Capcom announced that the highly acclaimed Resident Evil 2 Remake version would be brought to Apple devices. The company announced the new version of the game today, and this version is coming much earlier than previously announced. The remake will be released on new platforms on December 10 instead of December 31.
The remake version of the game will be released on iPhone, iPad devices and also on Mac devices. The new version of Resident Evil 2 is released on Apple’s newest product lines. This includes iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 16 models. On Mac and iPad devices, it will only be playable on models with M1 or higher chips.
Apple’s Universal Purchase offer is also used by Capcom. This means that once players purchase the game, they can play it on all their compatible devices thanks to cross-platform progression.
An auto-fire feature has also been added for the mobile versions of the game, which will make it easier to shoot at zombies when aimed. Gamers looking for a better control experience can also choose to pair a compatible controller from Xbox, Sony, or a third-party platform.
Capcom also allows players to try out the initial portions of the games before purchasing the full game. Pre-order Resident Evil 2 Remake on the App Store from the web page you can reach.
