The picture is creepy. However, it is an optical illusion of an airplane passenger. The photo has been viewed by a huge number on social media, more than 35.5 million views. It is compared to the alien from the movie ET.
In the movie, Elliott, a boy from California, befriends a homesick alien. However, not all of Earth’s inhabitants are sympathetic to the strange visitor, so Elliott wants to help ET return to his distant home.
The spine-chilling picture shows how a passenger dressed in a black hoodie and sporting a mustache stares at the camera with one giant eye, while a serving trolley is being pushed on the plane at the same time.

Imagination flies
The publication has sparked quite a bit of discussion. Rarely does a social media post get such a huge number of views.
Many of the 35.5 million viewers have compared the picture to the movie ET in their comments, but there are also people who do not exaggerate the issue. They believe that the dark-suited passenger was not an extraterrestrial stowaway, but someone wearing a hoodie.
