Carambar celebrates its 70th anniversary with new recipes

Since its creation in 1954, Carambar has developed more than 15 different flavors ranging from caramel to fruity and tangy flavors. To celebrate its 70th anniversary, the brand has decided to launch a unique system, made with gifts and new recipes.

The year 2024 was rich in emotions for Carambar, the famous French candy brand. For its 70th birthday, the group prepared a unique party. And for that, it’s no less than 70 caramboxes (ccontaining an exclusive selection of carambar products as well as goodies) which are up for grabs through a competition organized since last June. Consumers have until the end of November to try their luck via a draw after purchasing a product from the brand bearing a special sticker.

A campaign accompanied by an unprecedented collaboration

To communicate around this anniversary, Carambar is focusing everything on social networks. On the program: rebuses, riddles and jokes through special announcements and fun mini-games. The brand has even created three new editions with new fragrances: Bubble, Cerise and Caramel Pointe de Sel. “NWe are particularly proud and moved to celebrate this anniversary. We are committed to preserving this DNA in future years, with ever more delicacies.” says Hélène Riboulleau, marketing director of the brand.

But that’s not all! The brand announces a unique collaboration with starred chef Jean-Pierre Vigato. The concept is simple: offer each month new and accessible recipes for gourmets based around the iconic caramel carambar. “My goal is to reinterpret this classic confectionery by adding my personal touch and exploring new flavors. Together we will create daring recipes that fuse carambar lightness with the finesse and creativity of gastronomy.” he declares in a press release. The chef’s first new recipe has been announced: an honored saint with caramel designed specifically for the brand’s 70th anniversary.
