Pahartali police station arrested a drug dealer who identified himself as Mohammad Farooq along with 5 kg of ganja in Pahartali, Chittagong.
Yesterday, Friday, around 12 o’clock in the night, he was arrested. Meanwhile, 5 kg of ganja and a fake ID card of a press were recovered from him.
According to the police, the operation was conducted as the movement of the CNG in front of the police station was suspicious. At that time, 5 kg of ganja was recovered from a brown colored bag with him.
The police also said that he used to sell drugs with a fake ID card hanging around his neck. After being caught, he gave a simple confession.
After filing a case under the Narcotics Act against the arrested accused and taking necessary legal measures, he has been sent to jail on Saturday afternoon.
