Maya Rudolph is an American actress known for her work in the film “Bridesmaids” and the show “Saturday Night Live”, for which she won an Emmy Award. In 2022, the series “Cash” debuted on Apple TV+, in which she plays the main role, and in April this year, it received a second season. Apple has now announced that it has ordered more episodes.
“Cash” is about a billionaire whose comfortable and organized life is suddenly turned upside down when her husband’s affair is revealed and she becomes the subject of tabloid interest. In order to improve her public image, she begins to get involved in the activities of a charity foundation that she didn’t even remember establishing. Maya Rudolph not only plays the main role, but is also one of the producers of the series.
Apple hasn’t revealed much information about the plot of the third season yet, only announcing that it will pick up immediately after the events of the second season’s cliffhanger finale. The new episodes will once again be written by Alan Yang (“Master of None,” “Parks and Recreation,” and “The Good Place”) and Matt Hubbard (“30 Rockefeller Plaza” and “Parks and Recreation”). Apple has not yet revealed whether any new actors will join the cast of the series.
The expected release date for the third season of “Cash” has not been revealed yet. The previous two seasons are available to watch in its entirety on Apple TV+.
