Castrol Indonesia Increases Motorcycle Lubricant Specs

DAPURPACUID – Castrol Indonesia continues to innovate its product range to meet the needs of motorbike owners, through the ‘World No.1 Castrol Oil’ campaign.

The launch of this campaign was carried out with the racers involved in MotoGP and sponsored by Castrol, namely Aprilia Racing MotoGP Team and Castrol Honda LCR MotoGP Team, Wednesday (25/9).

The manifestation of this campaign is increasing the specifications of all Castrol motorbike lubricant products, starting from Power1 Ultimate and Power1 which now come with API SP.

Meanwhile, Castrol Activ has developed specifications into API SN. With these improvements, both are claimed to provide the best performance and protection for the engine.

President Director of Castrol Indonesia, Enjelita Jahja, said that the company has once again demonstrated the company’s seriousness in providing the best service to consumers, through the API SP and API SN specifications.

“This is a manifestation of Castrol’s seriousness in presenting a series of products that are not only suitable for racing, but also for everyday driving,” he added.

It was stated that they saw the presence of this upgraded product, including the Castrol MotoGP GO Indonesia series of activities, as an innovation that deserved appreciation.

Ario explained that what Castrol Indonesia is doing by presenting a series of the best products and activities that provide space for Indonesian youth with their talents is an innovation that deserves appreciation.

“The hope is that the activities that have been carried out can provide positive stimuli so that other young people in Indonesia can continue to explore and develop their skills,” he said.

For your information, Castrol has been working with the Aprilia Racing MotoGP Team as a technical partner since 2022. One of the ways this collaboration is to test the performance of Castrol oil in extreme conditions such as MotoGP racing events.

Two Aprilia riders, namely Maverick Viñales and Aleix Espargaró, commented on the performance of Castrol oil, which they claim is able to improve performance, efficiency and reliability from season to season.

“Especially in the challenging conditions we faced on the track. “We have seen a significant difference in engine performance, making it possible to push harder in every race,” added Viñales.

Aleix said the same thing, where he saw and felt a real improvement in the overall responsiveness of the machine.

“Starting from better acceleration and temperature management, which allows us to focus more on the race and minimize technical problems,” he concluded.

Increase Young Indonesian Talents

Spirit No. 1 was also promoted by Castrol Indonesia, in collaboration with Castrol Honda LCR MotoGP Team in a series of activities with the theme ‘GO INDONESIA’.

The series of activities that have been carried out include Castrol No. 1 Future Mechanic Contest, an appreciation program for the skills and work of young talents in Indonesia.

This competition was held with the aim of providing a forum for Automotive Engineering Vocational High School (SMK) students throughout Jabodetabek, in order to improve their skills and experience.

The contest, which was held in August 2024, was attended by 70 automotive engineering vocational schools and more than 600 vocational school students in the Jabodetabek area.

The two winners of this contest, namely Adnan Malik Yusuf and Abdul Hanafi, students at SMKN 4 Jakarta will be sent to the Mandalika Circuit, Lombok, NTB, to become part of the Castrol Honda LCR MotoGP Team technical team.

Including getting extensive learning from the mechanics and technical team of the Castrol Honda LCR MotoGP Team directly at the circuit.
