The Central Bank of the Republic of Turkey (CBRT) announced the results of the “Sectoral Inflation Expectations” survey. In November, 12-month ahead annual inflation expectations dropped to 27.2 percent for market participants, 47.8 percent for the real sector and 64.1 percent for households.
The inflation difference between market participants and households decreased to 36.9 points.
In its statement, CBRT said, “Sectoral Inflation Expectations were compiled with the Market Participants Survey, Economic Tendency Survey and Consumer Tendency Survey conducted by TURKSTAT. In November 2024, there was a decrease of 0.2 points in market participants, 1.7 points in the real sector and 3.1 points in households.”
The rate of households expecting inflation to decrease in the next 12 months dropped to 26.3 percent.
