The upcoming comic book series is called The Little Witcher and tells how Geralt of Rivia, in addition to killing monsters for money, is forced to raise little Ciri, simultaneously teaching her the basics of witchcraft.

“Young Ciri’s extensive training in the witcher fortress of Kaer Morhen includes everything needed to survive in a dangerous world, as well as the pranks and fun of a little girl establishing a bond with her adoptive father and family,” the description reads.

Her (and Geralt’s) closest associates will help train Ciri, including “Uncle Vesemir” full of wisdom and the sorceress Yennefer from Vengerberg with her “mother’s magic.”

According to CDPR, The Little Witcher will be suitable for family reading for The Witcher fans of all ages looking for a “light-hearted look at the world of the Witchers” and will also be an “ideal gift” for parents.

“The charming stories of this unusual family will make you laugh, sigh heavily and help you understand that raising a little witcher is not so different from raising any other child,” the authors assure.

The stories were written by CD Projekt Red itself, with illustrations by artist Giada Carboni. In the US and Canada, The Little Witcher will appear on May 13, 2025 – $16 for the hardcover edition, $10 for the digital version.
