ON THE OCCASION OF 56 years of operation of Manak’s House, the Ethnographic Museum will hold a celebration on Monday, November 18 at 1 p.m., at which the director Marko Krstić and Maja Marjanović, head of this department and keeper of the Hristifor Crnilović collection, will speak.
On the same day at 18:00, the annual exhibition of the participants of traditional crafts workshops will be opened. These are workshops for hand weaving and making ceramic objects, as well as other traditional crafts, folk handicrafts and old art techniques. The first exhibition in Manak’s house, entitled “Folk costumes and jewelry of the Central Balkan area from the 19th and first decades of the 20th century”, was opened on November 17, 1968.
