“Celebrity Big Brother” in the live stream from today: Sat.1 mixes an explosive cast

Sat.1 fulfills a dream for reality fans with the selection for “Celebrity Big Brother”. For a star it would be more of a nightmare. On the show he meets his girlfriend – and his ex.

One man, two women and a lot of history: In 2024, a mix of candidates will come together in the “Celebrity Big Brother” container for which the word “powder keg” is an understatement. The reason: Sat.1 and Joyn decided not only to provide reality star Mike Heiter with his current companion Leyla Lahouar for the surveillance show. They also send his ex-girlfriend Elena Miras after him, with whom – to put it mildly – there is certain disharmony. So you can only wish the trained automotive mechatronics engineer from Essen good luck in the celebrity shared apartment.

For fans of the genre, the combination of the three reality scene greats in the Cologne container is a kind of fever dream. Heiter first became known in the dating show “Love Island” in 2017, where he also met Elena Miras. The two entered into a relationship and daughter Aylen was soon born. However, the former lovers are no longer on good terms with each other. Before moving into the container, Miras explained: “I would say: I’m not angry with him. I don’t give a shit about him.” She also said: “I have a lot to say to him. But not in front of the cameras.” Which could get complicated in a house that is constantly monitored by cameras. Miras is also not considered a woman who suppresses her impulses.

Reality catches up with Mike Heiter

Heiter met his new partner Leyla Lahouar after taking part in the RTL jungle camp in spring 2024. There was already a lot of need for discussion on this show because candidate Kim Virginia, another past liaison of the always well-coiffed 32-year-old, was sitting around the campfire. At the time, Heiter had thoughtfully explained: “I just want to be Mike and not always in connection with any woman.” But reality obviously always catches up with the reality star.

To further complicate the situation, Heiter still doesn’t know what’s in store for him. According to Sat.1, he has no idea that the mother of his child is waiting for him in the container. Miras, on the other hand, knows about Heiter, but doesn’t know that her ex-boyfriend has the new partner in tow. The first live show can be seen on Monday evening (October 7th, 8:15 p.m., Sat.1). Stream started already this Saturday. The format will once again be moderated by Jochen Schropp and Marlene Lufen.

“Of course, that’s normal life too, right?”

Lufen initially interpreted the extremely delicate triangular constellation in the house as a relatively everyday situation. “Of course, that’s normal life too, right?” she said. “As an ex-partner, you meet your new girlfriend at some party. And then the situation is completely different.” In addition, with “Big Brother”, you have to live together in a small space for days and spend the night next to each other.

With this in mind, you could almost forget who else is moving into the house. But there are certainly other residents – including the former national soccer player and Bundesliga professional Max Kruse, the former RTL commissioner “Balko” Jochen Horst and Alida Kurras, who won the second season of “Big Brother” in 2000. Former “crime scene” investigator Mimi Fiedler and model Verena Kerth are also moving in.

They will all live in a container that has been furnished in extremely poor taste. There’s a lot of wood paneling and kitsch. A “Späti” was newly built where residents can get supplies.

Starting today in the live stream on Joyn

If you don’t want to miss anything – be it conversations at the kitchen table, brushing your teeth in the evening or the inevitable rescue of Mike Heiter by a special operations team – you can also go to one 24-hour live stream on the Joyn platform Be there – from this Saturday, 3 p.m. Last year, reality star Yeliz Koc won the show.
