Central Bank reserves reached a record level of approximately $153.9 billion.
The total reserves of the Central Bank of the Republic of Turkey (CBRT) reached an all-time high of $153 billion 910 million in the week of July 19, an increase of $114 million compared to the previous week.
TCMB announced the weekly money and banking statistics.
Accordingly, as of July 19, the Central Bank’s gross foreign exchange reserves increased by $350 million to $94 billion 695 million. Gross foreign exchange reserves were $94 billion 345 million on July 12.
During this period, gold reserves decreased by $237 million from $59 billion 451 million to $59 billion 214 million.
Thus, the total reserves of the Central Bank increased by $114 million in the week of July 19 compared to the previous week, from $153 billion 796 million to $153 billion 910 million.
