Acer presents a new generation of its gaming handhelds Nitro Blaze 11 and Blaze 8. The surprise is that the processor remains the same, but the diagonal increases.
As the name suggests, Blaze 11 is the biggest gaming yet handheld with an 11-inch display with WQXGA resolution, 120 Hz refresh rate and 500 nits brightness. This is a massive device that you can most likely simply place on a table – the largest model now has removable controls.
In both cases, the customer will receive an AMD Ryzen 7 8840HS processor and a Radeon 780M graphics chip together with 16 GB of LPDDR5X RAM and up to 2 TB of storage. The Blaze 8 will then offer a smaller 8.8-inch display and a higher 144 Hz refresh rate. The battery then increased to 55 Wh. Nitro Blaze 8 will cost 1000 euros, Nitro Blaze 11 will cost 1200 euros, availability is planned for the second quarter of this year.
