The new design language is called AW30, which is meant to celebrate the company’s 30th anniversary.
At the exhibition in Las Vegas, Alienware, under the supervision of Dell, was present – among other things – with a gaming monitor that combines a 26.7-inch screen with a resolution of 3840 x 2160 pixels and promises a refresh rate of 240 Hz.
The AW2725Q standard solution, typically consuming 31.1 watts, comes with AMD FreeSync Premium Pro, NVIDIA G-Sync Compatible, VESA AdaptiveSync, and Dolby Vision HDR plecsnik and 250 cd/m2with a typical brightness of 1000 cd/m with 3 percent APL2creeps up to in HDR mode. The VESA DisplayHDR 400 True Black-certified screen uses a quantum-precision OLED panel, so the GtG response time is 0.03 milliseconds, which is common in the category, and it displays 1.07 billion colors with 99 percent DCI-P3 color space coverage.
The PiP/PbP-friendly delta E<2 color accuracy display has a rounded back with a DisplayPort 1.4, two HDMI 2.1 FRL inputs (one of which enables Dolby Atmos pass-through thanks to eARC/ARC support), a 15 watt USB Type-C connector, three USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-A ports, and a 3.5 mm audio jack, and Its base, connected to a 100 x 100 mm VESA mounting point and equipped with a cable guide channel, can be moved in any way, including the two-way pivot.
The interface of the OSD menu of the Interstellar Indigo-colored device, which will debut in Europe in March at a purchase price of $900 (net), has also been renewed and is compatible with version number 6.6 Alienware Command Center with software. The warranty period is 3 years, and this also applies to possible burn-in, which is otherwise protected against by an artificial intelligence algorithm and a graphite sheet.
