At the CES 2025, Lenovo showed a trio of new Yoga 9 work laptops. One has an invisible camera, the second has two displays, and the third, the most boring, has nice equipment for work.
Lenovo is another manufacturer that presented laptops at the CES, but this time they are not gaming machines, but work machines. New products from the Yoga 9 series offer an elegant design, thin body and high-quality OLED displays along with Intel Core and Intel Core Ultra processors.
Yoga Slim 9i
Yoga Slim 9i is elegant in dark gray color with a glossy surface. But the invisible webcam will attract the most attention. The 32 MP camera is hidden under the display, similar to what happened with some smartphone concepts in the past years. Otherwise, the notebook is really a professional ultrabook with a 120 Hz OLED display, around which we find almost no frames. The Slim 9i is powered by an Intel Core 7 258V processor, offers up to 32GB of RAM and a 1TB SSD. It will be available from February for prices starting at $1,849.
Yoga Book 9i (Gen 10)
While the Yoga Book 9i does not have such a stunning webcam, it does have a second display instead of a keyboard. But let’s not be mistaken, we won’t find a flexible display here. It is a pair of 14-inch 120 Hz OLED displays joined in the middle by a hinge. The notebook is powered by a Core Ultra 7 255H processor, complemented by up to 32GB of RAM and 1TB of storage. You can also buy an original case with a hardware keyboard for the laptop, if for some completely logical reason the virtual one on the display does not suit you. A laptop is supposed to be the perfect tool for creatives, but I can’t imagine working on it. It will hit the market in May with a price starting at $1,999.
Yoga 9i 2-in-1 Aura Edition
The latest model is the Yoga 9i 2-in-1 Aura Edition. This 14-inch notebook offers an OLED display with a refresh rate of 120 Hz, a brightness of up to 1100 nits and 100% coverage of the DCI-P3 color space. With an Intel Core Ultra 7 258V processor, up to 32 GB of RAM and a 1 TB SSD, it can handle quite demanding tasks. It will be available in blue or gray from February for a price starting at $1,599.
