Lenovo’s three-member high-end notebook family brings the premium feeling in every aspect.

Lenovo’s premium notebook family, the Yoga 9i, has reached its next generation, and this fact is manifested in the entry of three new devices into the market. The trio, which includes the “basic version” Slim, the Book with two displays and the convertible 2-in-1 Aura Edition, relies on Intel’s latest Core Ultra processors and can include 32 GB of memory and 1 TB of storage.
All of them can rely on a 14″ OLED panel (or two in the case of the Book) as a display. The highest resolution available for the 2-in-1 version and the Book is 2.8Ks, and 4K for the Slim.
As you can see in the pictures, the new products have nicely rounded sides, while their shiny, steel blue cover attracts fingerprints.
The premium feeling is also enhanced by the almost frameless displays, which Lenovo designed to the extreme in the case of the Slim, reaching a 98% screen-to-face ratio. This is due to the fact that the webcam has taken a page out of the smartphone design tricks book, and the unit has been placed behind the panel, which only appears as a black circle when it is used. Of course, all Yoga 9i are extremely portable, as they are thin and light (the Slim starts at 1.19 kg and 312x219x14 mm), and their batteries have a capacity of 75 Wh, and in the case of the Book, 88 Wh.
They also received four speakers and a Wi-Fi 7 adapter, but the range of connectors is mostly poor: the Slim has two Type-C connectors, the Book has three Type-C connectors as Thunderbolt 4 interfaces, while the 2-in-1 version is slightly better: three Type-C Ct (two TB4, one USB 3.2 Gen 2 split) and one Type-At are included on its sides.
Availability and price are as follows: Slim 9i end of February, starting at 2,200 euros. 2 in 1: February, €1050, Book 9i: April, €2699.
