The K300S is a cheeky, small device with Google TV, an RGB laser projection engine and a built-in JBL sound system.
Yaber’s newest, small-sized “smart projector” is called the K300S, which is a construction based on Google TV, with an ultra-short focal length, and uses a laser solution, and the company has also installed 15-watt stereo speakers from JBL in the recommended (net) $1,000 price, producing a 100-inch diagonal image from a distance of 23 cm into the device.
According to the manufacturer’s claim, the device’s RGB laser DLP system can provide 150 percent coverage compared to the NTSC color space, and all this with a delta E of less than one. In order to fully enjoy everything, it must be darkened, because with a brightness of 1000 ANSI lumens, the apparent contrast is greatly impaired by even weak room lighting.
The other important parameters are the following: native Full HD resolution, automatic focus and keystone correction, Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.1, USB 2.0, Ethernet, HDMI ARC support and 8 GB of flash memory, among other things, for installing external applications. By the way, the novelty can also be used as a portable device due to its compactness (29 x 22 x 9 cm, 1.8 kg) and integrated sound system, but it does not have a built-in battery.
