Changjo Food Co., Ltd. and Kongsarang Tofu donated 1,000 servings of frozen food to Uijeongbu City.

Uijeongbu City, Gyeonggi Province (Mayor Kim Dong-geun) announced on the 15th that Creative Food Co., Ltd. and Kongsarang Tofu (CEO Lee Bong-man) donated 1,000 servings of frozen food (yukgaejang) for the underprivileged in the Heungseon and Howon areas on the 14th.

Changjo Food Co., Ltd. is a company that has been producing and supplying frozen foods (rice bowls, stews, etc.) with a business location in Uijeongbu City since 2008. Since its establishment in 1998, it has been contributing to the local community by participating in donations every year to help neighbors in need.

CEO Lee Bong-man said, “It’s a small donation, but we prepared it with great care in the hope that it would be of some help to our neighbors in need.” He added, “I sincerely hope you enjoy it and have strength.”

Mayor Kim Dong-geun said, “I would like to thank the CEO and employees of Creative Food and Kongsarang Tofu for continuously donating to our neighbors in need.” He added, “We will deliver the donated items to our neighbors in need.”

This frozen food was distributed to over 160 vulnerable households, including senior citizens living alone, disabled families, and low-income households living in the Heungseon-Howon area (Heungseon-dong, Uijeongbu 1-dong, Uijeongbu 2-dong, Howon 1-dong, Howon 2-dong, Gajeong-dong, and Nokyang-dong). It will be delivered to the senior center.
