cheaper than a Born and bigger than a Formentor

After the Skoda Enyaq, the Czech firm continues to electrify its range. Pending the arrival of the Epiq small SUV in 2025, the Skoda Elroqits first compact crossover 100% electric comes to the market. And with a starting price of 34,490 eurosthe Czech model could cause a sensation.

In the first half of 2025, the Skoda Elroq will go on sale. With 4.49m long1.89 m wide and 1.65 m high, the Elroq is the battery-powered counterpart to the petrol and diesel Karoq (4.39 x 1.85 x 1.61 m). Thus, despite being a crossover barely larger than a Cupra Formentor, it has the luxury of being cheaper than a Cupra Born with a 58 kWh battery (from 38,490 euros).

Big outside and inside and with a (almost) small price

The new Elroq inaugurates the brand’s new design language, called “Modern Solid”. Announced by the Vision 7S concept presented in 2022, this design can be seen on future Skoda models. Skoda’s new aesthetic language seeks to convey robustness and dynamism. At the front, this is reflected in a new look with a new light signature dual stage that uses LED technology.

At the top, the position lights and indicators are grouped in two stretched modules, each of which houses four small rectangular headlights. Below, the low and high beams are housed in a rectangular headlight unit.

There is also a double level grille. At the top, a thin black lacquered band joins the upper optical groups. At the bottom, the grille itself, also very fine. The hood continues to bite into the grille, sporting the brand name in the slit instead of the logo as before.
