Chery secures second position as the best-selling car brand in China

DAPURPACUID – Chery Group again recorded an impressive sales spike at the end of 2024. for products Cumulative sales from January to November 2024 rose 38.4% compared to the previous year.

This achievement makes Chery Group the only automotive manufacturer to achieve double-digit growth, successfully securing the position of the second best-selling automotive brand in China in November 2024. This is based on car sales ranking data in China which was released in early December 2024.

During November 2024, Chery recorded sales of renewable energy vehicles (NEV) and Internal Combustion Engines (ICE) of 280,463 units, marking an increase of 32.2% compared to the same period the previous year.

Meanwhile, for the period January to November 2024, Chery Global’s cumulative sales reached 2,305,411 units, or an increase of 38.4% from the previous year which applies to the domestic market and imports abroad. Making it one of the fastest growing companies in China’s automotive industry.

Chery Group is also consistently in the top four positions in China’s automotive industry, this dominance is becoming stronger thanks to Chery’s global exports reaching 1,046,186 units from January to November 2024, an increase of 22.4% compared to the previous year.

This achievement also maintains Chery Group’s title as the Number 1 car exporter in China for 22 consecutive years. Not only that, Chery is also leading the shift to new energy vehicles (NEV) with sales growth of 214%, far exceeding the industry average. With its SUV market share remaining above 14%, Chery has also proven its dominance in this very popular segment.
