Gaikindo data records that the number of Tiggo 8 distributions to consumer garages has currently reached 428 units. This success proves that Chery’s newest medium SUV has become a new choice for family cars.
In fact, Chery Indonesia has recorded the number of orders (SPK) for this 7-seater SUV of more than 800 units from all regions of Indonesia.
Head of Marketing PT Chery Sales Indonesia, Mohamad Ilham Pratama said, Tiggo 8 is here to answer the needs of Indonesian consumers, as well as those who are looking for a 7-seater SUV family car.
According to him, with a series of technological features, safety, comfort and a capable engine, including a significant price, the Tiggo 8 has managed to get a positive response.
“With this positive response, the Tiggo 8 has become a new phenomenon and colored the Mid SUV segment in the country,” explained Ilham, in his written statement.
The Chery Tiggo 8 was first introduced to the public at GIIAS 2024 in Tangerang. At the official launch and price announcement, the Tiggo 8 was priced at IDR 349,500,000 for the Comfort variant and IDR 389,500,000 for the Premium type.
It is claimed that this positive public reception has made the Tiggo 8 one of the best-selling medium SUVs in Indonesia. It is not without reason that this car has received a good response from consumers.
The reason is, the Tiggo 8 is here to offer what consumers really need, starting from the 1.6 TGDI engine with a 7-speed DCT transmission.
