She knows he misses their daughter, but she encourages him to remain calm. “Children shouldn’t be planned. We tried and couldn’t and we thought it was because of work, stress. Then, when I was 40, I discovered there was a mechanical problem, I had to resort to assisted fertilization. And, when I got pregnant, I was 53 and my husband was 63, but we had been trying for 9 years”explains Carmen.
“We were not afraid, we were strong in the fact that children need love, and our relationship is solid. Then, of course, the fear of the years, which are many, was there, but children do not judge their parents based on their agethey need the quality of presence, of growth, which is why we are calm”Russo clarifies again.
