“Children and the civilian population in the conflict zone need solidarity and empathy to overcome the dramas caused by the war. Since the first days of the conflict, Romania has offered support to the civilian population, and today the first children from the Gaza Strip who will receive medical care in Romanian hospitals have arrived in Bucharest. Our support efforts are doubled by diplomatic efforts to restore security, conclude a cease-fire agreement and release all hostages”, said Prime Minister Marcel Ciolacu, quoted in the press release.

The children and their families arrived in Romania with an aircraft of the Ministry of National Defense, the quoted source states.
