Ministry of Commerce of China, ABD‘s ChineseBeijing has made a statement against the new tariff increases imposed by the US on Chinese goods. He categorically rejected “The Washington administration said,wrong” policies to correct immediately ve called for the removal of all customs duties.
According to Reuters, the ministry statement said,China will take all necessary measures to resolutely defend the interests of Chinese companies” China’s harsh response came after the US decided to significantly increase customs duties on products imported from China, such as electric vehicles, solar panels and strategic products, in order to protect the domestic industry.
The new tariffs will come into effect on September 27, 2024, and are likely to further increase trade tensions between the two countries. China has emphasized that it is carefully monitoring these steps taken by the US in an effort to rebalance trade relations with the US and will take countermeasures.
