Chittagong student movement shooter Ledu arrested

RAB-7 has arrested Chhatra League activist Abdul Nabi Ledu who opened fire at the anti-discrimination student movement in Chittagong. He was arrested from Garibullah Shah Shrine area of ​​Khulshi police station in the city on Tuesday (November 5) night.

According to the police, on July 16, the student crowd was holding a protest rally and a peaceful sit-in program in front of the Jumaira building on the opposite side of the Muradpur N Mohammad plastic under the police station. Accused Abdul Nabi Ledu is involved in firing on protesting students.

The deceased furniture worker Md. Farooq was shot dead in Muradpur clash while going to eat rice in Bahaddarhat. A case was filed in Panchlaish Model Police Station. His name is among 269 accused in the case.

He has 5 cases against him in different police stations of Chittagong city. After confirming the presence of the accused on the basis of secret information on November 5, RAB-7 conducted a raid and arrested him.

The accused has been handed over to Pachanlaish police station.
