Galaxy AI is here. That is Samsung’s slogan when the Galaxy Z Flip 6 and Fold 6 are released, and it was at least as clear when the S24 series was released earlier this year. What I mainly ask myself when I see the billboards is what customers expect when they see the headline Galaxy AI. For AI in general can be very different actual uses. Galaxi AI also has a wide range of services. Especially when we look at the additions that have just been added, the focus is on the fun of generating images so you can put a festive hat on the picture of your friend and then send to the friend directly or your mutual friends.
Of course, this can also be used for good. Create a nice invitation, get help with translation or some extra wording help or summary. What I appreciated most when I tested Fold during the launch was how the pen now becomes a tool even for those who are not really good at drawing.
Samsung said during the presentation that before the end of the year there will be 200 million devices with access to Galaxy Ai. This includes both new devices and existing ones that received or will receive Galaxy AI as part of a software update.
Perhaps the most obvious when it comes to expectations is that we don’t know. Samsung promises seven years of system and security updates. Who knows where AI will be in development in seven years? Not you, not me and not Samsung. No one else either.
