A clash took place between the students of Bangladesh Textile University (BUTEX) and Dhaka Polytechnical Institute in Tejgaon of the capital.
On Sunday (November 24) after 10:00 p.m., several people from both sides were reportedly injured in the clash between the students of Aziz Hall of Butex and Latif Hall of Dhaka Polytechnical Institute.
According to local sources, the police came after receiving information about the clash, but later came under fire from both sides. However, the reason for the clash between the students of the two educational institutions was not immediately known.
Meanwhile, this incident created panic in the whole area. Vehicular movement has been stopped in one side of Tejgaon Industrial Area, police said.
