In cooperation with PUK “Zelenilo-Belgrade”, employees of the Mondelēz International company participated in the action of cleaning green areas and painting props in parks in New Belgrade and thus marked this year’s Purpose Day. The green area cleaning action was also implemented in Zagreb in cooperation with the local utility company.

From companies they remind that Purpose Day marks every year in order to emphasize the purpose and mission of the company – to encourage and encourage consumers to consume snacks properly and responsibly.

“Every year in October, we have a special reason to celebrate our commitment to responsible consumption snacking products and to feel proud to be part of the wider Mondelēz community. This is also an opportunity to show our gratitude through our corporate values, to contribute to the improvement of the local community and to repay it in the best possible way – with care and support”, the company says.

The company is active in supporting local communities and preserving the environment throughout the Adriatic region – last year, together with employees and partners, an action was taken to plant new deciduous and coniferous trees in Serbia and Croatia. Together with the distributor, a large national project was launched in Montenegro, within the framework of which one hundred thousand new black pine seedlings were planted throughout the country. This year, in the market of Bosnia and Herzegovina, in cooperation with the distributor and partners, an action aimed at the protection of bees and the preservation of biodiversity was implemented, within the framework of which ten thousand seedlings of honey plants will be planted in new honey gardens.
