Cockroaches lead to disinfestation at the PSP officers’ school in Lisbon – Portugal

The Higher Institute of Police Sciences and Internal Security (ISCPSI), where PSP officers are trained, in Lisbon, is the victim of an outbreak of cockroaches and “the three-day disinfestation protocol is already underway”, by a company specialized in eradication, applied in educational establishments, told the CM official police source.

The origin of the outbreak of cockroaches may be in the improvement works being carried out both at ISCPSI and in the PSP 4th Division building, next door.

Due to these works, ISCPSI students have been taking classes at the Higher Institute of Social and Political Sciences of the University of Lisbon (ISCSP), in Ajuda.

“Two or three cases of gastroenteritis” that occurred with ISCPSI students this week “will not be related” to the cockroach problem, says the same source.

The ISCPSI mess continues to operate.
