Comedy Club turned the closure of a project into the opening of a new one

The Comedy Club project will not leave TV screens, but will be transformed into a new show. This was announced by the club residents themselves during their farewell performance on September 20 on the TNT channel.

It turned out that the supposedly farewell episode of Comedy Club turned out to be the beginning of a new project. Garik Kharlamov announced from the stage on air that the old program was closing. Pavel Volya immediately emphasized that new seasons of the club were ahead.

“Goodbye, old Comedy Club. And hello, new 20th season of Comedy Club,” the comedian noted.

Recall that the day before, the press service of TNT, as well as Gazprom-Media Holding, confirmed that Comedy Club was closing. Over the 19 years of the project’s existence, 20 television seasons and more than 800 episodes were released. The show received two TEFI awards.
