Comilla (South), Natore and Sherpur district BNP convening committees have been dissolved. Besides, Bakhtiar Ahmed Kochir, general secretary of Dinajpur district, has been suspended as general secretary due to various complaints.
This information was informed in a press release signed by senior joint secretary general of the party, Advocate Ruhul Kabir Rizvi, on Thursday night.
It is said that the convening committee of Natore District BNP has been abolished as a decision taken by the party. The new committee of Natore district BNP will be announced soon.
It is also said that the convening committee of Comilla (South) district BNP has been dissolved by a decision taken by the party. The new Comilla (South) District BNP Committee will be announced very soon.
Also, the partial convening committee of Sherpur district BNP has been suspended.
According to the press release, no organizational activities can be carried out in the name of Sherpur district BNP until further instructions.
Besides, Dinajpur District BNP General Secretary Bakhtiar Ahmed Kochir has been suspended as General Secretary due to various complaints.
According to the notification, Dinajpur District BNP No. 1 Joint General Secretary Murad Ahmed has been given the responsibility as Acting General Secretary of Dinajpur District BNP until further orders.
