Contract manufacturer for the engineering industry compound informs that he is buying Fortaco Groupilta The business operations of the Kalajoki factory and the Sepänkylä machining and service center, including their current and fixed asset items.
The purchase price is approximately EUR 2.8 million. According to the release, the turnover of the business to be purchased was around 9.6 million euros in 2023.
According to the release, the deal strengthens Componenta’s service offering and service capability for machine and equipment manufacturers.
The operations to be acquired employ a total of approximately 60 employees, who will join Componenta as old employees upon completion of the transaction.
The transaction will be carried out in two installments. First, Componenta Manufacturing will buy the business operations of Kalajoki and Sepänkylä, including their current and fixed assets and excluding real estate, for a purchase price of EUR 1.8 million from Fortaco, estimated on October 1, 2024.
In the second phase, Componenta Manufacturing will acquire the real estate within one year of the completion of the first phase at the latest. The rent paid is deducted from the property’s purchase price of EUR 1.0 million.
Componenta finances the deals with its income financing and available financing limits.
If the transaction is implemented, it will have no impact on Componenta’s profit guidance for 2024.
