Domestic. Several senior figures within the Social Democrats are dissatisfied with the leadership’s settlement with the Tidö parties to replace the surplus target. Some believe that S is headed for an election loss as a result of the weaknesses in its own economic policy, according to The Express.
Many who would rather have seen a wasteful case believe that the party is top-managed by Magdalena Andersson and economic policy spokesperson Mikael Damberg and that critics are dismissed as whiners.
– More and more are saying that we will lose the election if this continues, says an S source to the newspaper.
Magdalena Andersson, for her part, tells SvD that some within the party want to see a policy that produces large deficits and a greatly increased national debt, something that “doesn’t surprise anyone”.
