The OIE SERBIA 2024 conference will be held on September 23 and 24 in the ethnic complex Vrdnička Kula in Vrdnik.
The conference, which will bring together the most important representatives of green energy in Serbia and the region, is traditionally organized for the fourth time by the Association of Renewable Energy Sources of Serbia.
It begins on September 23 at 11:30 a.m. with a ceremonial address by the Minister of Mining and Energy of the Republic of Serbia, Dubravka Đedović Handanović.
The working part of the conference starts at 12.30 pm with a panel discussion “Challenges of RES integration into the power system”, and on the first day of the conference, the development of wind energy, the challenges faced by the winners of the first auctions, as well as the readiness for the second round of auctions, as well as the position of the academic communities towards green energy and youth education for the RES sector.
On the second day, panel discussions begin at 10 a.m. on the topic “Challenges of financing and insurance of RES projects”, and e-mobility, solar energy will also be discussed, while the conference traditionally closes with a panel on the electricity market.
Among the 40 panelists and moderators are representatives of the most important state and international institutions, investors and equipment manufacturers, as well as domestic banks that deal with the financing of RES projects, lawyers, and consulting firms.
