Stored shrimp baguettes way too hot

News24 has taken part in the Environmental and Health Protection Board’s Kristianstad municipality’s report. Among other things, the drains were heavily contaminated with food residues and other objects. According to legal requirements, the drains must be functional.

The cold room also received a note. The room had a temperature of ten degrees. During the check, three products, chicken, sausage and onion, were also measured in the room and all products had an elevated temperature. Food was kept too hot in the cooler in the cafe. There they had prawn baguettes way too hot.

Black mold and discoloration

According to the report that Nyheter24 received, the walls and floor of the staff dining room were “heavily contaminated”. There must have been black mold growing on the floor of the counter and discoloration along the wall.

– It is clear that we have broken our routines. Now all the deviations have been fixed and we have responded to the inspection report, said Linda Glauser, communications manager at Scan Sweden, to P4 Kristianstad.

Why the deviations occurred in the first place must be investigated, so that it cannot happen again.

However, Linda is clear that the defects have nothing to do with the actual production in the factory, but only concern the staff canteen.
