Contortion, Carved Memories, Torcbearer together they perform in Sarajevo It enchants me, October 12.
Contortion is a great band from California and they say they are the voice and sound of the revolution.
During their exciting journey as a group, the members of the band Contortion won the hearts of music lovers around the world. Performing in various venues and making numerous public appearances, this talented band has gained the admiration and sympathy of critics and fans.
The music they play can be described as metalcore/thrash with groove elements. Everything you want from a metalcore band is there: growl vocals that melt into melodic clean parts, while a carpet of thrash riffs beats in the background, only to be greeted by a breakdown of the weight of a tow truck. So far they have released three LPs: “Manipulation of the Mind”, “Masterpiece of Domination” and “The Common Thread” and two EPs: “Live Grenade” and “False Flag Paradigm”.
For paradise in Jazzbina, they will present the new album “The Common Thread” from this year, which featured members of bands such as Butcher Babies, Cattle Decapitation, Brujeria or Angra.
Carved Memories they started their metal journey in Costa Rica, before settling in Germany.
They say their music is “Very emotional symphonic death metal, which tries to show strong emotions through the aggression and power of vocals and instruments, combining it with melodic guitars. The guitars combine the aggression of the music and serve as a transition towards the symphonic elements of the orchestral arrangements and additional elements included in the music”. So far, they have released the EP “Carved Memories” from 2017 and the LP “The Moirai”, which came out this year, which they will present to the Sarajevo audience.
