Correct use of stock orders – online lecture for beginner traders

With the different types of stock market orders, you can react flexibly to market movements. The purpose of each order is to optimize your buying or selling decisions in line with current market situations. However, it is important to know which type is most effective in which situation.

What will it be about?

  • Market price order: Immediate execution of the purchase or sale at the current market price.

  • Limit price order: With this order, you can buy or sell at a specified rate. The transaction will only take place if the exchange rate reaches the desired level.

  • Stop order: An order in which the sale or purchase is activated when a predetermined price level is reached.

  • Profit taking: You can use this strategy when the exchange rate reaches a profitable level defined by you and you realize the profit.

  • Trailing Stop: This type automatically follows the market and is activated when the price reverses at a predetermined level, helping to lock in profits.

  • OCO order: The “One Cancels the Other” order allows you to place two different orders at the same time, but if one is fulfilled, the other will be automatically canceled.
