At the ongoing CES 2025 trade fair in Las Vegas, Corsair has seen e.g. cases, power supplies and RAM memory card modifications.
Corsair, one of the top names in PC accessories and components, is naturally present at the Las Vegas CES 2025 electronics fair and presented a lot of new products there for the joy of PC gamers for the year 2025. The coverage included e.g. cases, power supplies and modifications for memory cards.
Case novelties are represented by the midi-tower class 5000T series, which is essentially a facelift from 2022’s case of the same name. The ATX case, which comes in black and white, is available in two different versions, the reduced 5000T and the RGB-illuminated iCUE Link 5000T LX RGB, which is equipped with the manufacturer’s own LX120 RGB fans and an iCUE Link hub for fine-tuning lighting and cooling. As a significant innovation compared to the previous models, the new 5000Ts support the rear connections of motherboards, which are found in Asus’s BTF, MSI’s Project Zero and Gigabyte’s Project Stealth motherboard models. Other features include, for example, a spacious cable channel under the right side panel and the included video card hanging support.
Frame 4000D is a continuation of the 2020 4000 collection. According to Corsair, the new Frame additional name refers to the customization possibilities of the case, as it includes e.g. InfiniRail technology for easy installation and replacement of fans, and replacement panels in different materials and styles will be available at the front. The case is also more spacious than the original 4000D and can accommodate up to 200 mm fans on the front. The 360 mm cooler can be installed on the front, side or ceiling, and there should also be room for the largest graphics cards on the market. The Frame 4000D also comes in black and white, and you can choose variants either with or without fans. The fan options are RS120 PWM fans without RGB lights or illuminated RS120 ARGB PWM models.
On the power supply side, Corsair introduced the updated RMe and HXi series, both of which are fully modular in terms of cables and support the latest ATX 3.1 and PCIe 5.1 standards. The RMe series are Cybenetics Gold certified for their energy efficiency and come in 650, 750, 850 and 1000 watt outputs. A 600-watt 12V-2×6 power cable for high-power graphics cards is included, except for the 650 W model, which comes with a 450-watt cable. There is also a Zero RPM Fan mode that stops the 120 mm fan under low load to bring silence.
The HXi series offers more robust 1200 and 1500 watt power supply models, the Cybenetics Platinum certified HX1200i and HX1500i. Both will be updated by the end of June to include two 600-watt 12V-2×6 power cables, whereas they now come with one cable. The new HXi models have a 140 mm fan, which also stops with the Zero RPM Fan function at low load. The HXi series comes with a 10-year warranty.
Corsair’s memory cards at the fair saw cosmetic updates, as the manufacturer introduced its Custom Lab service – which, at least for now, is only available in the US – to include its Vengeance RGB DDR5 memory. With Custom Lab, users can design their own memory combs in different styles and colors. The service will be released in Custom Lab during the first quarter of the year. Instead, the Wave accessory set was introduced for the Dominator Titanium DDR5 memory sticks, which consists of metal RGB light bars that can be easily installed on the top of the memory sticks, and which, as the name suggests, create wave-like RGB lighting.
We also saw new accessories from the manufacturer, such as the Xeneon Edge 14.5″ LCD Touchscreen, which functions as a multi-purpose touch screen for, for example, monitoring the sensor data of the assembly, following chat channels or, for example, as a calendar. The monitor can be installed on a table or inside the case in a 360 mm radiator slot and it connects to the computer with a USB-C cable using the DisplayPort Alt Mode connection or alternatively with HDMI. The Xeneon Edge has a resolution of 2560 × 720 pixels and will be released by the end of June.
EX400U is an external SSD drive with USB4 and Thunderbolt 4 support, which reaches up to 4000 Mb/s sequential read speed and 3600 Mb/s write speed. To the delight of Apple users, the novelty is also MagSafe compatible. The EX400U will be available in January with capacities of 1, 2 and 4 terabytes.
In addition, Corsair presented the Fanatec Clubsport GT Cockpit driving simulator developed with its Fanatec stores, about which more information can be found below, as well as the wireless K65 Plus Wireless keyboard and M75 Wireless mouse for Apple’s Mac computers.
