Corsair’s new K70 Core TKL keyboard models come with game-optimized settings

Corsair has released two new keyboard models in its K70 Core series: K70 Core TKL and K70 Core TKL Wireless. The new tenkeyless model combines the typing feel and performance of the original K70 Core with a model that does not take up too much space on the desktop.

The new keyboards use pre-lubricated Corsair MLX Red v2 switches, which the manufacturer says brings a soft feel and pleasant sound. The switches are expected to last up to 80 million clicks.

The Corsair K70 Core TKL keyboard has two layers of sound-absorbing foam. Its purpose is to reduce unwanted sounds such as hissing.

The K70 Core TKL Wireless uses Slipstream Wireless. Users can play for up to 890 hours in Slipstream Wireless mode or up to 2,400 hours via Bluetooth without needing to recharge.

By pressing a button, the K70 Core TKL Wireless keyboard can be switched to game mode, where game-optimized settings are activated. Easily accidentally pressed keys are locked to ensure trouble-free operation, and the RGB lighting changes to a static color. The K70 Core TKL series has the option to enable the FlashTap feature. With it, there are modes that prioritize either the first or the last pressed key.

The keyboard features a multi-function rotary control that enables easy-to-reach settings changes, such as volume, zoom, backlight and scrolling.
