Coupang Eats Services (CES) announced on the 1st that it signed a business agreement (MOU) with Changwon-si, Gyeongsangnam-do on the 31st of last month to create a safe delivery environment for delivery partners.
CES plans to expand its efforts to support the safety of delivery partners beyond the metropolitan area nationwide, including signing a business agreement with Gangnam-gu, Seoul in November of last year and Gyeonggi-do in May of this year.
Through this business agreement, Coupang Eats Service plans to cooperate with Changwon City to provide various support measures to ensure a safe delivery environment for delivery partners, such as △ free safety inspection of two-wheeled vehicles, △ provision of necessary goods such as safety equipment, and △ safe driving culture campaign.
CES plans to expand its efforts to support delivery partner safety beyond the metropolitan area to the entire country, starting with the business agreement with Changwon-si, Gyeongsangnam-do, following Gangnam-gu in Seoul in November of last year and Gyeonggi-do in May this year.
An official from Coupang Eats Service said, “Starting with this business agreement with Changwon City, Gyeongsangnam-do, we plan to expand our efforts to create a safe delivery culture for Coupang Eats delivery partners beyond the metropolitan area to the entire country,” adding, “We will continue to make efforts to support the safety of delivery partners.” “We will become Coupang Eats Service,” he said.
