Tiago Craveiro, strategic consultant at CR7 SA, Cristiano Ronaldo’s personal holding company, became a member of the board of directors of Vista Alegre.
According to a statement sent this Thursday to the Securities Market Commission (CMVM), it is stated that Tiago Craveiro was elected as a non-executive member to serve for the remainder of the current term in progress.
This proposal from Visabeira, Vista Alegre’s majority shareholder, was the only point of an extraordinary general meeting held today. The company’s board of directors thus increases from 14 to 15 members.
It was in mid-June that the current Al Nassr player bought a 10% stake in Vista Alegre Atlantis, through CR7and also 30% of the Spanish subsidiary, having also agreed to jointly create in equal parts a new company in the Middle East and Asia to promote the Vista Alegre and Bordallo Pinheiro brands in those geographies.
Tiago Craveiro has a degree in Communication Sciences and began his professional career as a journalist at Diário de Notícias in 1998. In 2002 he took over as head of communications for the then deputy minister to the prime minister, José Luís Arnaut.
