At least for the China region, starting next month we have the arrival of the new OnePlus 13 and a little later it was expected to reach other global markets. We have already heard enough about it and today it’s time to talk about the RAM memory, perhaps the most controversial point for any Android device!
According to the prolific and usually reliable @Digital Chat Station on Weibo, the OnePlus 13 will arrive up to 24 GB LPDDR5X RAM. This matches the maximum amount offered by its predecessor, the OnePlus 12, and is unheard of by most of its competitors.
There is also some bad news, e.g. estimated price of the top configuration of the OnePlus 13 (the one with 24 GB of RAM and possibly 1 TB of storage) it will suffer a slight increase compared to the price that the OnePlus 12 brought with the same RAM/ROM combination.
The OnePlus 13 will be the only phone to feature 24GB of RAM from the first batch of new flagships to be launched in the coming weeks and months – those powered by either Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 chipset or MediaTek’s Dimensity 9400.
The OnePlus 13 will also be impressive in terms of battery, a 6,000 mAh cell is selected with support for 100W wired charging and 50W wireless charging, according to earlier rumors. It will also keep the same primary camera and display will be 6.8 inches 1440×3168 with micro-convex design on all sides. The device will feature an ultrasonic fingerprint sensor and an improved water resistance rating.
