create Favorite contacts on WhatsApp and use them quickly

WhatsApp keeps getting new features, always trying to make this service and its apps even better. The latest feature allows you to have Favorites in a quickly accessible area and thus make the most of these contacts. Find out now how to create your Favorite contacts and conversations on WhatsApp and how to use them quickly.

Simplifying the use of WhatsApp is not an easy process. Meta has sought to make this change and ensure that users can have quicker and clearer access to all the features that are available and that can be used.

Create your Favorite contacts on WhatsApp

One way to do this is with favorites. These can be applied to contacts or group conversations. Associating a Favorite allows you to have quicker access and thus find who you usually want to talk to. To add a new favorite, you must tap on one (or more) contacts or a group conversation on WhatsApp.

Once you have selected your contacts or conversations, open the app menu and see the list that appears. At the end of the list, you should see the option Add to favorites, which you should select to complete the process. The success of this process is confirmed by a message indicating that they have been added to your WhatsApp favorites.

Access your chosen preferred conversations and calls

Once Favorites have been defined, which can always be increased or removed, users can access these contacts or group conversations more quickly. To access them, simply swipe up from the top of the conversation list to see the filters. The Favorites option will already be present here.

By selecting this filter, you will be shown the contacts and conversations you have added. This means you can quickly access your favorites. Similarly, in the Calls tab, users can find the list of contacts and group conversations marked as favorites at the top. This also makes it easier to call these contacts.

This is a new feature that aims to simplify access to favorite conversations on WhatsApp. By separating them and making them easily accessible, users can quickly find the conversations they use most often and are therefore close by.
