Cristian tells how he saved the lives of two DANA girls

Cristianone of the many heroes who have left the catastrophe in Valencia due to DANA, has spoken live in this special of ‘On everyone’s lipswho told us how he saved the lives of two people on the tragic night that occurred in part of the Valencian Community, specifically in Bennetúser.

This young man said that he was one of the many neighbors who went down to the garage to save his car and that when he returned home he began to hear “some very distressing screams and bangs” that were from two girls who were trapped: “We thought we couldn’t do anything, it was absolute darkness, cars floating, crazy.”

“They broke the glass from above and between the neighbor and me we tied four blankets as best we could quickly and we threw it away, with the luck that they were able to catch it after half an hour. They tied themselves up and after forty minutes we were able to get the first girl out,” he told us, as he also stated that the neighbor had to stop helping him at the moment when the second girl had to be taken out: “He’s an older man and he put his finger in when he pulled and it started to bleed a lot, he had to withdraw, he has lost part of his finger.

At which point I do not hesitate to shout and ask the rest of the neighbors for help: “Some more came down and we were able to get the second girl out. They were very wet and very cold.”

“They stayed with us all night, when they were with us on top the water kept rising. There are no words to explain, it’s not heroic, it’s lucky that the brain acts like that and we were able to salt them,” said this boy.

David Alemanfrom the set he applauded the great strength and courage that Cristian was at that moment: “If it is heroic, things must be recognized. You are very great, saving the lives of two girls who, if it were not for you, we would surely be talking of two more victims”.

But before ending the connection, Cristian wanted to send a message: “We are still totally abandonedToday for the first time I saw soldiers in the area, there are older people who are still waiting for medicine. Let the politicians stop fooling around and help, look how we are. Can’t stand the smell please agree.”
