With the Closing Ceremony on Saturday 7th September, the 81st edition of the Venice Film Festival. The festival, on the final evening, as per tradition announced the winners of the prestigious awards: The Room Next Door by Pedro Almodovar won the coveted Golden Lion, the Coppa Volpi was awarded respectively for best actor and best actress to Vincent Lindon and Nicole Kidman, the award for Best Restoration to Nanni Moretti for Here’s Bombo and much more. For the last red carpet, guests gave their all in terms of elegance and style, focusing above all on the timeless black, a must for glamorous evenings and special occasions.

Sveva Alviti shines on the final evening

Swabia Alviti was the godmother of this edition of the festival. Born in 1984, the former tennis player is best known for her interpretation of the singer Dalida in the 2017 French biopic and for the leading role in Nudesa film about revenge porn. Night after night, in Venice she focused on very elegant looks, alternating white, black and a touch of color. For the grand finale she chose the sparkling effect: a sparkling outfit, a strapless dress studded with crystals by Giorgio Armani Privé completed with an important diamond necklace. A true diva look.

Sienna Miller Parades in Boots

Sienna Miller She arrived with Kevin Costner to present, out of competition, the second chapter of Horizon – An American Saga. On the red carpet, the American actress wore a transparent white jumpsuit by Chloé, made of lace, which left the culotte underneath visible. The final effect, reminiscent of eighteenth-century French lingerie, was toned down by the maxi black leather boots that reached the thigh. She completed the look with a jeweled belt that featured the name of the brand: it is part of the Fall/Winter 2024-25 collection.

From start to finish, Isabelle Huppert she conquered the red carpets with impeccable looks. Night after night she confirmed herself as a true diva, imposing herself with a series of outfits that elected her the style queen of the kermesse. The French actress acted as president of the International Jury of the Competition, therefore she was present for the entire duration of the event.

When it comes to gala evenings, black is always a winning choice, which never goes out of fashion. For the Closing Ceremony in Venice, many celebrities chose it. Taylor Russell she captured attention with a look by Schiaparelli characterized by transparency, a draped dress with an open back and a side slit embellished with ruffles, matching long gloves, décolleté with jewel detail, velvet choker by Tiffany.
