Csinger: Autumn cannot attend the first game this year

“The first three weeks were brutal. I can say with some exaggeration, in our first preparation match, I entered the field as if I just wanted to survive the match,” said Márk Csinger, the defender of the Hungarian youth national team from Dunaszerdahelyi, with a laugh.

So, Xisco Munoz drove the squad of the Slovakian silver medalist very thoroughly, and serious preparations were also necessary, since on the one hand they are preparing for a three-front battle in Csallóköz, and on the other hand, it was proven last year that a bad start, including a European duel that resulted in elimination, can cost you the whole autumn. .

“Although I was not a part of the elimination against Dila Gori, it can be said that the whole team was very affected by the failure. The team had a lot of problems, key players also left, and autumn really took the trouble to deal with the problems that surfaced. Fortunately, we came together in all respects by spring, and thanks to our great hair, we took second place,” said Csinger, with whom we spoke for the last time before the decisive final round:

“This was a success not only because we came up from very deep, but also because we will only reap the fruits of it this year. I’m not just thinking about the European performance, but that the spring march gave a lot of confidence, the team and the fan base found each other again, and since the core of the company stayed together, it can be said that the atmosphere in the DAC dressing room is completely different now than in a year ago.”We are confident, we are positive. And we finally want to play” – said the main player of the Dunaszerdahely back line.

Csinger said that the club replaced those who left, so according to his calculations, there will be a maximum of 2-3 changes in the starters who produced an excellent spring performance. “I think unity is our greatest strength now, and it is easier for a new player to integrate into such a community. We have a cohesive team, and we not only believe that we can beat anyone, we’ve experienced it. You have confidence, that’s very important.”

Make it golden!

The defender said that he would not mind if the DAC really had to participate in a three-front battle throughout the fall, because that would mean that he reached the main table in the Conference League. “Physically, we would certainly do well, now I feel that we are starting the season in exceptionally good condition. Whether this will be enough will depend on whether we can give 100 percent in every game. If we can do it, we will have a very good year,” said Csinger determinedly.

“For me, the first thing is always to look for the fault in myself, and since I am a maximalist, I can only say that I want to win a golden trophy this year. Either in the league or in the cup series, we have to win, because even though the podium is a nice result, the goal must always be to reach the highest level. And I think that even if DAC is not the strongest team in Slovakia, we are able to create a chance for ourselves to win one of the series.”

“It would be a dream to reach the main draw in Europe, but then we would write history with him, and such a task is never easy. It won’t be the first duel, we have to pay close attention to the Azeris” – said Csinger about Zira, who eliminated Sheriff Tiraspol on penalties in the first round.

“With the support of our fans behind us, we are able to defeat Zira, and in this duel the self-confidence we gathered in the spring will really benefit. We will meet an excellent team, we want to prove ourselves and the field, as we could start the championship with the momentum of a successful European duel.”

The success can only apply to the first match, since the Nike league starts three days after the away match against Zira, the Dunaszerda locals visit Kassa in the first round. The first rally against Slovan will be held in mid-September (in Dunaszerdahely), and the derby against Trnava will take place two weeks later. If we manage to get there, these hot matches will already take place in the middle of European main draw matches.

“We are ready! We put a lot of energy into the preparation, and we didn’t push ourselves to get stuck at the start. It will be very important to get him, but I am calm because we have done everything to start the season in the best possible condition. And we have no influence on the countless other circumstances, it’s a shame to get upset about them,” added the 21-year-old defender with a laugh.
