Custom-made Ferrari 812 GTS in 1:8 scale, a luxury in a small format

A Ferrari 812 GTS in scala 1:8 it was shaped by the Amalgam Collection specialists to perfectly replicate the physiognomy of an example coming from the Maranello company and configured according to the buyer’s specifications. The same one who then turned to the English atelier, to give himself the reproduction as a gift, perhaps to keep in the living room or in the garage, next to the real supercar of the “prancing horse”.

The model was finished in Air Force Bluewith a sophisticated Terra Bruciata brown leather interior, accented with Sterling Blue leather accents. Now, in the absence of dimensional references, it seems like we are admiring in the photo the real Ferrari 812 GTS whose setup it replicates.

This was made possible by the close collaboration with the Emilian company, which allows Amalgam Collecion to access specifications and painting data, along with CAD designs. This happens for all the 1:8 scale models dedicated to the brand and, perhaps, even more so for the examples, like the one in question, which reproduce the features of a single set-up, commissioned ad hoc by the customer.

In line with what happens with the Tailor Made program of the “prancing horse”, also with the Bespoke service of the English atelier it is possible to create unique configurations, adhering to the compositional choices made for the full-scale “red” ones. The repercussions on the price are inevitable, but exclusivity and perfection certainly cannot be given away.

The protagonist of the treatment was a particular interpretation of the Ferrari 812 GTS. This sports car houses, under the long front bonnet, a naturally aspirated V12 engine with 6.5 liters of displacement, with 800 thoroughbred horsepower to animate its dance.

Remarkable performance frameworkcapable of satisfying the most refined palates. The acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h is recorded in just 2.9 seconds, but this figure, although stratospheric, is not enough to effectively communicate the level of performance and emotional vibrations given to those on board.
