Cyberpunk 2077 finally officially supports AMD FSR 3 with Frame Generation

Also Cyberpunk 2077a game that after a troubled debut to say the least has found the path to success, finally supports FidelityFX Super Resolution 3AMD’s technology – but which also works on competing GPUs – which offers not only upscaling but also Frame Generation.

The welcome novelty is integrated into the patch 2.13which also includes support for the latest version of Intel’s upscaling technology, namely XeSS 1.3. The update also allows GeForce RTX owners to enable DLAA and Ray Reconstruction simultaneously.

Instead of removing FSR 2.1 in favor of FSR 3, Cyberpunk 2077 developers have kept FSR 2.1 and simply added FSR 3thus allowing gamers to choose the mode that best suits their needs in terms of performance, input lag and visual quality.

At the same time, it must be said that CD Projekt RED has not implemented FSR 3.1the latest version of the technology, which can further improve graphics. However, this does not mean that this will not be done in the future, just as it cannot be excluded that Anti-Lag 2, fresh from the release of the SDK, will also be implemented.

FSR 3, gives NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2000 and 3000 owners — as well as Radeon RX 5000 and 6000 owners — access to Frame Generation technology for the first time. NVIDIA’s neural network frame generation is exclusive to GeForce RTX 4000 cards.
